The Ranch

The Opperman Ranch is located four miles north of Coleman, Texas, on a 1200 acre spread.  Opperman Ranch was founded in 1996, after being purchased from a family who had owned the land since 1846.   We have been under a game management system since 1998. We feed a free choice high protein mixture to our free ranging deer. Over one ton of feed is used per week to ensure maximum health and development. The ranch offers a wide range of terrain for your hunting need including mesas, creeks, and sunflower fields.

Opperman Trophy Whitetails offers all-inclusive guided hunt packages for Whitetail Deer, Scimitar-horned Oryx, Blackbuck Antelope, Axis Deer and more.

We actively purchase only the finest animals from around the country to ensure only the finest genetics are released on the ranch. As a scientific breeder, we have regular visits from state biologists and the USDA to ensure the health and well-being of our stock. As members of the Texas Deer Association, we are constantly updating and improving our methods on our scientific breeding program.   Below are pictures and stats of a few of the breeding bucks.
